The title of this post probably builds up some sort of expectation of adventure and strangeness. Sadly, I have no idea why I picked that title. Although, I wrote the title less than a minute ago, I can't remember what was strange or what was adventurous. As the one person that reads this blog will attest, I have opened an Etsy store. My plan was to fill this store with ACEO, art and zines. Sadly, my scanner has decided it does not want to work so I have only managed to upload one item - the zine I did with ladypajama. Today, I'm at home. Waiting for various landscape dudes to arrive and give me quotes on some work. The first landscaper was due 45 minutes ago... where are you?? Back to my adventure, I must go.
The art zine I worked on with LadyPajama is now available for sale here. Limited edition of 10 copies. $3.20. Sexy like a swamp.
Well, my blogging life is very transient. I hardly ever here and, I'm sure, have few hits as a result of my laziness. Anyway, an update...
Still working in my dull job... actually, it is not as dull as it once was because Christie (my wife... I feel sort of odd writing "My wife" as the left-wing part of my character says "Your wife? Why is she your wife? She is not a piece of property! She is a person you love!) now works for the same department and we get to see each other a lot more than we used to... this is still a good thing in our relationship!
I have finally completed my contribution to an art/poetry zine that Ladypyjama and I started in 2008. My contributions were a poem (more a childish sing-along, actually) and some additions to the art that Ladypyjama had posted to me... at this point, we plan to have a limited run of 10-20 copies that will sell for a few dollars (basically cost price) on Etsy later in the year. The zine is either called Lazy Pyjama or Return For A Better Address - both of these are on the cover so maybe it is actually Lazy Pyjama: Return For A Better Address... don't ask me, I just co-wrote it.
My art is still developing very slowly... so slowly that the casual observer may not see any development at all. Trust me, I will open an Etsy shop and dazzle you with my brilliance if my brilliance is ever likely to dazzle. Then again, I may just open a shop in the off chance that there is a market for the childish doodles I tend to produce.
Well, that is the most I have written on here for a very long time. Hope you are all well... note that I write all as if there is more than one person reading this!
Have joy.
